International Dinner 2004

This year's theme was Middle-eastern/Egyptian, we had Mummies running around. Hilarious evening and a good closure for the semester. Not many people actually dressed towards the theme. I went for the traditional national costume, traditional hmmmmm the Kebaya, I think its more of an Indonesian costume then a Singaporean one. But hey, I'm both so its all good. Wen came in a Baju Kurung, a Malaysian national costume, Mel in a Cheongsam (she's not from China though) and Gil in a Punjabi suit. Jeff our resident Canadian, dressed in everything to do with Canada, he was wearing boxers with the Canadian flag, a flag, bagpack with a Canadian patch, all things Canadian. And then there was JJ with a full hockey get-up down to the skates. Alex, our American SRA was in a suit as usual and then there were a couple of American TP Mummies going by the names of Brian and Jared. It was a fun night, we even had an Arabian backdrop with a camel and a sarcophagus. It was bittersweet, knowing that this was the last International Dinner we'll have together with most of the batch graduating this year. How fast three years have passed by us.
